Good article, but as a chiropractor I would have to recommend that someone with a disc bulge/herniation at least get evaluated by another chiropractor. There are a lot of conservative treatment options available for people with disc injuries and depending on the neurological involvement of the persons disc problem, these treatments should be consi more…

I found your article very informative. My mother may need back surgery but since I read a book called Surgery not Included (author Dr. Richard E. Thanks for answerin more…

Surgery should be your last problem. I have recently read a book that was great and taught me that should be the last resort.
The book I read was called Surgery Not Included, by Dr. Richard E. Busch III.
I even brought it right to my doctor after reading because surgery was almost an option in my case.
Thank god for this book! more…

Treatment for osteoarthritis is a combination of exercise, weight and stress management, hot and cold treatments and medication. Every situation is different. What works for some may not work for others even if the disease is in the same joint. It is a matter of trial and error to see what is most effective for you.
Any osteoarthritis more…

Hello,
I've been researching pain support groups and I am looking to recruit case studies that have used a painkiller to manage their condition and would be willing to talk to me about how their pain has affected them.
